Tucked away on the top of the mountain, Highland’s Hideaway provides the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation with spectacular lake views! This rustic wood home is complimented with luxury finishes to ensure a quality stay at Deep Creek. The extravagant wood detailing throughout the entire home is just one of this home’s highlights! With four master suites, you will be living the high life! There are also several amenities with this home including the hot tub, community outdoor pool, lake access, fire pit on the deck, and pool table. You are also just a short drive to Wisp Resort which offers activities for the entire family during all four seasons! There is so much to do at Highland’s Hideaway, you don’t want to miss out!

Great views from the house and enjoyed the stay overall. The septic tank in the back yard was a little stinky, but did not impact the hot tub at all. Had to move firepit further away to avoid that smell which was not a big deal. Overall a nice place and good for families.

Highland’s Hideaway was a terrific layout for our family. The location in Deep Creek Highlands was perfect for all the amenities of the area. Railey’s website was so easy to navigate. Searching homes and booking was a breeze.

The home is lovely and comfortable and obviously cared for by the owners. It may be time for them to replace the living room couch, which does show signs of wear. With that exception, the furnishings were great.

This place is awesome! We would stay here again and tell our friends and family to book this place. However, the furnishings DESPERATELY need to be updated. The couches have seen better days. For the cost of the stay, the owners certainly need to get new furniture. Looking forward to future stays but only if the get NEW FURNITURE!

The place was clean, spacious, and well equipped! The pictures are exactly what you get! Hot tub was very big… 8 seater I believe ! I thought the trees would block the view of the lake in August, but we had multiple elevated views of the lake! The yard was flat in the back and nice room for kids to run around! Outdoor wood burning fire pit was excellent… 6 to 8 nice wood chairs to use! Railey does a great job managing this property! Great place, great price , and not one problem during our stay! Only disappointment was we rented a boat to tube for the day from Bill’s North and the attachment to hold the rope to the boat was broken when we arrived. They had no other boats so we didn’t get to boat or tube… really disappointing as this was supposed to be the highlight of the trip. Our stay with Railey and Highlands Hideaway was as advertised and fantastic though! We hope to be back! Jeff

The view is nice and the stay is great . But hot tub is not working during our stay, and no one ever has came to fix it. Called customer service a few times , left the message, no one has ever responded.

I just vacated the property a couple hours ago. The home was well maintained. Kitchen space and supplies were plentiful. You didn’t have to bring a thing. Enjoyed all the space and the bedrooms all had their own baths which my family enjoyed. We were there for a family reunion. We had tables and chairs delivered for which there was plenty of room under both decks to set everything up. Our caterers for the week had plenty of room to navigate. The hot tub was fabulous, and one of the biggest tubs I’ve ever seen. The lights inside and out while the tub was on was a plus. No issues with maintenance, they responded twice for the air conditioning, the pipe had frozen and was fixed immediately. The only suggestion I have for this home, replace the gas grill. Half the burners don’t work and it was quiet difficult cooking for 50 people. The views were fantastic of the lake-made it good for selfie’s or a family picture. I would rent this place again. Shoutout to the owner of this property-well maintained.

Great vacation spot and stay

We stayed there for 3 days, the house itself was nice and looked exactly like pics. The view was gorgeous , the check in/out process was easy. However the hot tub was not working, and we called and left message no one ever responded. I am not sure if railey vacation has ppl on site to fix maintenance issue even though they provided the after hour service number.

The view was amazing. The wood designs and finishings were gorgeous. The Hideaway was truly a jewel of a place that we would definitely rent again. It's very spacious, well kept by the owners, and has a kitchen big enough to cook for a football team in.

It was a great experience- if we had any issues we contacted guest services and they came right out- the place was comfortable and very relaxing. We would definitely stay there again- it was close to everything also.
