DESCRIPTION:
Escape the hustle and bustle of your day-to-day and retreat to this beautiful Sky Valley home. Hillside Pines boasts a spacious kitchen and dining room which are great for entertaining and gather family together and the floor to ceiling windows in the living room allow plenty of natural light to flood the home. The large deck is perfect for sunbathing on the bright summer days while breathing in the fresh mountain air. Spend your days walking the quiet neighborhood roads, down at the catch-and-release pond, or at the lake access spot. Tour the lake by boat and see all that the area has to offer before stopping at one of the many lakefront restaurants. Return home to relax around the fire pit telling stories and munching on s’mores. On rainy or winter days head to the lower level for a movie night or a game of bumper pool, foosball, or darts or head over to the area above the garage for a round of ping-pong. Curling up on the couch with a good book in front of the glow of the fireplace can also be a great way to spend a rainy day at Hillside Pines. In the winter months, enjoy playing in the snow in the large side yard or head to the Wisp Resort for skiing, snowboarding, or tubing. At the end of the day, enjoy a soak in the hot tub and let the warm bubbles soothe your muscles as you plan your next adventure-packed day. ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access is located along Piney Point Dr. While this home does not come with dock access, dock slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis through the Sky Valley Community Association for an additional fee of $15/day or $100/week. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

After fighting a battle with cancer that prevented my mom from participating if numerous family events and gatherings due to her weakened immunity, it was very important for me to make this a special Thanksgiving for her. Thus prompting me to find a peaceful and memorable experience for our family. My mom, husband and two toddler's absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed each and every bit of our stay at Hillside Pines. The home was large enough to spread out and have a good time whilst still feeling homely. For those who like to cook, the kitchen has everything and anything you will need. It was clean and comfortable. Despite being located within a neighborhood the property being situated on a corner and having neighboring properties on the posterior side, feels very private. We saw deer, bears, foxes and wild turkeys roaming the yard which was quite exciting! If you plan to do any grilling you will need to bring charcoal for the grill located conveniently off the kitchen. An A+++ stay!

Wow....what's there not to like! We (2) recently spent 5 days at this fantastic home in Sky Valley, The inside was super clean with a well maintained exterior and yard/grounds. Located on a quiet less/non travel street in a community with lots of stuff to see and keep everyone busy. The inside is very spacious, well 'lake/mountain' decorated with quality, comfortable furniture and beds. Large living room with a nice deck 'with a view' off of it. An amply furnished/equipped kitchen and 3 1/2 big, bright bathrooms. After a full day of outdoor fun, unwind in the hot tub, enjoy a fire in the outdoor fire pit or play one of the games/tables provided in the rec room/lower level while watching a ball game/movie/program on the big TV. Even being there for 5 days, we still did not have enough time to use/enjoy all the amenities this place has to offer. Highly recommended......I will be back!

Nice, large home big enough for the whole family

Home is very spacious with enough room to sleep 10 easily. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. There are 2 living room areas which is a bit of a necessity for a large group because neither can comfortably sit more than ~5 on the sofas. The hot tub was perfect as the nights cooled off. Pricing was extremely reasonable, I was unable to find anything else as big or nice for the same total price. Overall I would highly recommend this rental. For those who haven’t been to the area before, be prepared to drive ~20 minutes to go anywhere and drive very slowly due to deer.
